FOUNDER, CERTIFIED

DECORATOR + ORGANIZER:

Vanessa Guinto

Hi there, I’m Vanessa! You can usually find me near dogs, out in nature, or making art (and maybe cookies). My love for design began with my mom, who had an incredible eye for decorating and a true passion for making a house feel like a home. I grew up watching her from the sidelines, never realizing that those early memories would one day shape my career.

My creative path originally led me to dance. I trained and studied at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts, and went on to perform professionally in the U.S. with Koresh Dance Company in Philadelphia. While dance will always be a part of me, over time I felt called toward another creative outlet - one that felt just as expressive, but more rooted in everyday life.

During that transition, I found myself naturally drawn to organizing, reworking spaces, and immersing myself in design. I experienced firsthand how thoughtfully designed and organized environments can help us reset, recharge, and care for ourselves. Creating spaces that feel calm, supportive, and truly yours became something that brought me immense joy - and it’s work I now do in honour of my mom and the love she had for creating meaningful homes.

That calling led me to study at QC Design School, where I became a certified professional organizer and decorator. Today, I take pride in helping others transform their most intimate and personal spaces because our homes have a direct impact on how we live, rest, and show up in the world.

My design approach is deeply personal and never one-size-fits-all. I believe my superpower is mixing old with new, working with what you already own, and enhancing it with thoughtful additions to create a space that feels collected, lived-in, and uniquely yours - not overly curated or perfectly modern. Your home should tell your story.

Outside of work, I’m happily married to my husband, love making our house feel like a safe haven, and am a very proud auntie to my niece, nephew, and dog nephew, Tofu. Creating warmth, comfort, and beauty (both in my own home and for others) is at the heart of everything I do.

At Tula Living, helping people feel grounded, supported, and at home is always the mission.
